6K People + Design + Margaritas = LA Design Festival
Thank you LA design community for making our 1st Saturday open studio a success! There is nothing like drinking Shreebs coffee or a Sino margarita while doing Anna Lian Tes' DIY sculpey workshop, I definitely had fun! It’s fulfilling being part of a community that supports artisan made goods. I love supporting my peers, and am always humbled to have so much support from all of you. I want to thank Agamemnon Jewelry, Botanica Workshop, Clau, Echo and Air, HighLow Jewelry, and Rummage and Hollow for selling your designs and launching Open Studio Saturdays. Thank you RackedLA for your post, and also LA Design Festival for honoring women in design every year! From designer to shopper, we are all the same. We are proud to be part of the design events that drew over 6K community members. One of my girl friends brought an out of town friend who was visiting. Her friend was nervous to go out with people in LA since she didn’t know anyone and thought people would be standoffish. To her surprise, everyone was welcoming and nice; hearing that made me feel better than any other measure of sucess.
Open Studio Saturdays 11am - 4pm
Since the open studio was a big success, we'll be open Saturdays for shopping, styling, and complimentary wine and drinks.
We welcome you to see the workspace, chat about clothes and what's happening in your life, and find new pieces for your closet. For the month of July on top of my Summer designs, Agamemnon Jewelry and I are pleased to be showing Botanica Workshop as our guest designer. Come shop their sustainable lounge wear designs. Also now in store is Clau Leather Designs - hand stitched leather bags that are light and versatile. We have wine and treats! If you can’t make Saturday, private shopping appointments are available Tuesday - Friday.

Release of Pinnacle Collection
Designer friend and studio partner Amy Agamemnon recently debuted the pieces of her new collection. Amy loves working with gold, and her fine jewelry designs are influenced by architecture. Each piece is shaped in studio.
"The Pinnacle Collection captures the brief and fleeting moments of calm throughout the daily hustle. Regardless of gender, race, or age these moments of reflection while creating, commuting, or resting are the moments we share everyday that empower us to keep striving towards personal excellence.
This collection by AAJ is inspired by the pyramid and obelisk shapes. The Pinnacle Collection is a modern interpretation on a classic shape. These pieces represent strength and subtlety with emphasis on angles, shape, and finish."
My favorite piece, worn above is the Peak Bracelet, made of plated 14K Gold. It's a unique and beautiful wrap bracelet. Photographed by Sarah Renard for our feature in Minimums
Come see what Amy's been working on, by shopping her online store, or visiting this Saturday from 11am - 4pm
