November 16' Newsletter

This Sunday I'll be at the gorgeous home of friend and jewelry designer Ronni Kappos in Echo Park.  Ronni's artistry and talent overflows.  Her line is a favorite of museum stores such as SF MOMA, both nationally and internationally.  The sale was wildly successful last time we did it 2 years ago! Expect new pieces, limited edition gift and home items, homemade apple cider, and a special sale!

Plus, 20% of proceeds from 'sale' items in my line will be donated to the Downtown Women's Center.  DWC is the only organization in Los Angeles exclusively dedicated to addressing the needs of women overcoming poverty and homelessness in Skid Row.

Get Involved!

I love the holidays with all of the festivities, gifts, and unnecessary calories.... it's the perfect occasion to give back to community! Two friends Stephanie, and Jillian turned me onto organizations in Los Angeles that are uplifting LA with their hard work.

Inner City Arts offers arts education to LA unified students.  They have state of the art facilities and have been around since 1989.  Attend their holiday party - with music curated by Dublab, dancing, and art activities- or make a donation.

Midnight Mission helps homeless individuals on many levels.  It's a goal this month for me to volunteer at meal service.  If you want to get involved, they accept donations in the form of professional services, help assembling hygiene kits, and more.

Other LA organizations are giving back too!  If you want to support local, Agamemnon Jewelry is giving proceeds of sales to the American Civil Liberties Union, Clarebare is giving to Keep a Breast (cancer education) when you use her promo code, and Mashup Dance Company is donating half of their proceeds from fundraising today to Planned Parenthood.

Did you know Gift Certificates are now available from $25 - $500? They've been amazingly popular since getting added to the site last month.  Recipients can use them online, or in person for a private shopping appointment. It can be delivered by mail as a beautiful color print out with a hand written note, or via an artful email it, just note your preference. To customize gift certificate amount, just email :)

There's plenty more to tell and share, so I'm hoping to see you soon, and hear what you have been up to.  Thank you very much for your continued support.
Warmly, Jill
